The dough must go into the fridge — skip that and the cookies spread across the tray.
Ingredients
- 170 g of tahini
- 115 g of butter at room temperature
- 135 g of sugar
- 200 g of flour
- 3 tablespoons of maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder, half a teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of vanilla
- a third of a cup of sesame seeds
Preparation
- Cream the butter and sugar, then add the tahini, syrup and vanilla.
- Fold in the flour, baking powder and salt just until combined.
- Chill the dough for 30 minutes.
- Shape balls, roll them in sesame seeds and flatten into discs.
- Bake at 175 °C for 10 to 12 minutes, until the edges turn golden. Leave them in the tin for 10 minutes before moving.
